Wish I knew, man, wish I knew.

^ They notified '11 about two days before they sent out the decisions! So now you should be refreshing your inbox :D

lovely ajayc....
if i get in Dartmouth i will fly to india and shout with you in the street

Hey guys!! Im a new comer on this thread
Can you guys please give me some information.
When will ED applicants get to know about their financial aid award? Will they be informed along with the acceptance letter on December 15?
Im asking this because Ill be filling the FAFSA only after January 1. So how is the University supposed to inform the student about their financial reward earlier than Jan 1 without knowing the amount of Federal Aid the student will be receiving?
Thanx for any reply.

Ajay... really... only 2 days before??? So that would either mean tuesday (today), or wednesday. I thought someone else on here said they were notified on a monday that it was to be on a friday. Anyways, I hope you're right ajay!

oh hey ajayc! i didn't realize you were an international applicant from india! i visit my family in kolkata pretty much every summer. not to sound incredibly creepy and prying but what part are you from? (feel free to be as vague or specific as you want, haha. i completely understand)

rob33- i'm certainly no expert so i'd suggest you go to http://www.dartmouth.edu/apply/financialaid/fafaq.html and scroll down to "Early Decision Questions"- hope that helps!

Welcome rob33. Well I have no idea about what you are asking but we internationals will get our award with the acceptance. You might want to start a new thread.

Diablo : ofcourse!

pamplemoose: Yeah thats what VeryHappy said. Lets keep our fingers crossed. :)

andsoitgoes: OMG I am IN kolkata at the moment :D Dad is going to get posted out within a few months though!

Do we get our decisions on the same website that posts information about application materials? (the site with "we have begin processing your application") Or is there a different site?

I'm pretty sure thats where we go to check decisions too. Someone correct me if I'm mistaken.

I was hoping to see something in my inbox today! I'm so excited!

PLEASEEEE let us receive the acceptance letters by this week.
we cant wait any longer!

I heard from someone who talked to the admissions office that they will be finished making all the decisions by the 11th. I don't know when they'll actually notify people, though.

that is so disappointing.

they need to notify us this friday!!

Well it is not necessary that they give our decisions on friday. haha I don't remember who started presuming things :p

It happened last year but its not necessary that they tell our decisions early. I mean come on there are loads of applications this time. So if we can wait till 8th we can as well as wait till 15th. sigh Who am I kidding, i want them earlier too :)

Welcome Aboard erc37!

I decided to join this now, a little late.... I am soooooo nervous!!! Will we get an email saying when the decisions are posted? And where are they posted?

Prediction/Guess: ED results out on Dec 12. 3p.m. Eastern Time.
