Some years they release it earlier though.</p>

<p>Anxious, i dont know where you saw that but it almost made me cry. So i checked the website and the calendar says the 1st…so…was that a joke? My poor anxious heart didnt find it very funny!</p>

<p>I sincerely hope they are implying “before” April 1st. I know a few days doesn’t make a difference, but it would seem like a month if Rice is the last one remaining of all my choices. Oh well.</p>

<p>Releasing decisions anytime in the final third of March is fair game for Rice. Based on my research (looking through old College Confidential posts), I have found that Rice has released their decisions in recent years on these dates:</p>
<p>2010 - March 28
2009 - March 23
2008 - March 25
2007 - March 30</p>
<p>So I’d say anytime in the March 20 to March 30 time period is fair game for consistently refreshing Esther</p>

<p>Omg I seriously hope it’s earlier rather than later. Rice is one of my favorite schools that I actually stand a reasonable chance of getting in to 
Someone let me know if decisions are relased! I don’t really know anyone who applied as well so I don’t want to miss out on decisions!</p>
<p>You’ll get an email almost concurrently with when Esther is updated, and it’s not done at 12:00 or any set hour like that. </p>
<p>It’s tough to be patient, but you’re likely less than 2 weeks away from finding out! Come to Owl Days!</p>
