Decision Date?

So I'm an out of state student who got everything from the application in on October 4. I applied to McCombs first choice. I've heard out of state kids getting in already, but other people have said to wait till February. Do you think I'll have to wait that long if I applied well before the deadline?

Help anyone?

Some will get in earlier than others. It is really hard to tell who will get in first and who will get in last. You should relax and be honest about your chances; if you had great stats and think they were good enough, than there is not need to worry about your admission. If–on the other hand–you’re worried that you don’t quite stack up or are unsure whether or not your documents are in, then you should be realistic about your chances or call, whatever the case may be.

I am by no means installing fear/doubt on you as I would be happy that you got in, but rather sincere. Would you mind sharing your stats? Anyway, good luck :)

Thanks for the advice, here’s a link to my abbreviated resume post I put up a few weeks ago.

I’m in the same boat as you. I had everything in by October 21 and I’m anxiously awaiting my decision.

Oh yeah, now I remember you. Like I said, you’re most likely in. If you’re unsure about anything go ahead and call the admission office and pester them until they give you a favorable decision lol. It is also worth taking notice that the McCombs is pretty competitive, which might be the reason for your admission taking some time.

I’m out of state too. Sent in my app for McCombs and BHP November 31st, found out about McCombs in 10 days. My friend who applied in August still hasn’t heard back.

I’m out of state as well, applied to Cockrell school of engineering didn’t think I would hear back until February but now seeing this I guess people are hearing back much earlier. Anyone know if decisions come at different times for different schools? Or out of state vs. in state?
