I am just being curious… Didn’t MIT admissions already send us a e-mail about the decision date? so… why are the people searching for it…? I may be mistaken, though :)

MIT sent the email about 4 hours ago, but we found the date on the decisions website much earlier than that (I think more than 6 hours before the email).

^ hmm, S has not received the email (not in spam folder).

S just got MIT email half an hour ago.

Still nothing in S’s mailbox… it’s nearly noon MIT time. Hmm… is there a hidden meaning?

Yesh crazy momster, I believe there is a very grave hidden meaning behind all this, including but not limited to, technical problems, computer problems, software problems and/or chicken problems!

Hope this helps :D

LOL… yes, that was immensely helpful! MIT is the school of “technology”… those lame excuses don’t hold water :-)

Lots of email doesn’t make it to students. Even the best mass email deliverability from the best people rarely exceeds 80% when you factor everything in. If your son is awaiting a decision then he was sent the email; if he did not receive it, it’s due to factors beyond our control.

I didn’t realize that the delivery rate was so low. I didn’t really think there was any “agenda” behind S receiving or not the email, was just having fun… I think it’s all the obsessive teenagers getting to me :-)

Thanks for the reply!

Pi Day Tau Time!!!

the pony express has finally arrived. S just received the decision date email :-)
