@agwin27: Thanks for posting the link! Yeah, most regions should be getting the decisions on Saturday. I am SO nervous!

Please note that link was from 2010.

Actually, it was posted last year (March 16, 2011).

Since they did post when they were mailing decisions last year (the day before, and then on the actual day they were mailed), we all need to be prepared for the possibility that they may not actually be mailing them today. I’d feel better if there was a blog entry on the official Vandy website letting everyone know for sure when they were coming!

OK, too curious so I called. As per their pre-recorded message the admissions office is closed today because they are “mailing and cleaning”!!! So straight from the horses mouth.Today is mailing day. Good luck to all

Wow…can’t wait for tomorrow to come. I hope my d gets good news…

how long do you think it will take for the decisions to get to the midwest?

do you all think the southeast will receive them tomorrow or Monday?

It’s probably not possible to get to Florida by tomorrow, right? I’m hoping no later than Monday…

The blog entry often includes pictures of the mail trucks filled with decisions. I would watch for an entry later this afternoon.

Yup, they were mailed today!!!

Good luck, everyone!

Any chance packets make it to Michigan by Monday?

I’ve posted this in years past in hopes of calming some down: While the acceptance decisions come in priority mail envelopes, there is no guarantee they will come in 2 days regardless of proximity. We live 2 hours from Nashville. Both kids waited 3 days for their decisions (S was RD in 2002 and D was ED/small envelope in Dec.'04. In both cases, other kids from our community had decisions before my two did. Hang in there during the wait and good luck to all!

Basically if you don’t get a big envelope in mail you know you have been rejected :(

… or waitlisted (Vandy usually waitlists a lot - 5,500 last year).

Oh no not another WashU daughter was waitlisted just recently to WashU can’t take another waitlist for her

Don’t be worried if it takes a few extra days. I have noticed that it takes much longer to get mail these days … D sent something priority mail to me from Nashville to Michigan last month, and it took 9 days!!

If it’s an acceptance, it will be in a pretty mailer.

Is the only way to find out their decision through the mail? Is there a way to check online? (I’m an international student)

The blog says that international students will be notified via e-mail on Monday, so international students will hear before many US students. Good luck to all.

I just got waitlisted at UCSD, UCLA , Occidental, Wesleyan, and University of Chicago. I don’t think I can take another waitlist! I’m hoping for you Vandy :/
