D was waitlisted last year but then got called on the first day of waitlist calls and is now finishing her freshman year at Vandy. If you are waitlisted and want to remain on the list, follow the waitlist instructions and immediately follow up with your regional rep with an email reconfirming your interest and indicating that Vandy was your first choice and that you will accept a waitlist offer if extended one. It can’t hurt and may prompt the rep to continue to advocate for you. It’s tough though because you will have to commit to another school and pay a deposit before the waitlist decisions come out. My D had even picked a roommate and was wearing the t shirts from the other school by that time. The decision was pretty gut wrenching, but ultimately it was the right one.

Be sure to post when you get your decisions! Our mail comes really late, and we’re not in TN so we may not even receive our decision today. It will sure be a long weekend if we have to wait until Monday. Good luck to everyone!

Mail arrived in West TN, but no letter.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the admission packages to arrive internationally? (I just want to know what the Financial aid package includes basically and I’ve read that that information is included in the package they mail. I have already been accepted)

P.S. Congrats to all those that were accepted!

@12santiago3 On the Vandy Admissions Blog website they said that they will email all international applicants on the 26th… which is tomorrow, so don’t worry about snail mail.
