Decision Date

@BDG, sorry man =( Well, it looks like rejection letters have also gone out today so not getting a letter doesn’t necessarily mean rejection.

D got a fat packet in Wisconsin.

Anyone hear from the College of Fine Arts?

@tennisadvocate where in the washington area are you? im in WA as well, but nothin today.

so… basically if no fat packet today it’s game over? Lol i can’t believe I even let myself think i was accepted thanks to that stupid financial aid thing xD

Got my big FAT letter in FL :D:DD

Congrats to everyone!

cneogy dont lose hope,i didnt get anything either and im prety competitive aplicant

Got a fat letter in Washington. Accepted to School of Sciences and waitlisted for School of Computer Science.

Got into school of computer science, tepper, and cit. Super happy. Carnegie Mellon class of 2017.

@2017wishful I won’t say for privacy reasons, but I’m in the King County area.

@tennisadvocate no worries, thank you! it’s a bit south (im snoho county) from me, so hopefully it’s not horrible news for me. appreciate it!

Any rejection letters?

@2017wishful Yeah no problem! And hey - you’ll find out tonight at 9 P.M. anyways. Best of luck :)

if you check the thread you’ll find multiple ppl posting about rejection letters

Really? I only saw 1 person say they got rejected.

DS got acceptance here in Northern Calif.

@omgitsme1234 don’t forget that the credential level of applicants on CC is highly skewed… i.e. there are far more qualified ppl posting on the CMU forum than unqualified

seems like:
fat packet sent priority mail gets delivered by Monday.
letter gets sent regular mail gets delivered either Monday or Tuesday.

@collegedad, I hope that’s not the case. There’s no real way to prove that either unless more people volunteered to share their “rejection” letters.

lol i’ve kinda resigned myself to the waitlist. jk do not give up!! we can still get accepted!
