poor guys on the west coast??? think about us international for one second?? itll reach us by 26th-27th only IF we signed up for the priority mail thing.

Hello guys, I’m an international applicant and I got the priority mail thing too! Even though it’s a bit pricey, I decided to do it cause I can’t stand having to wait for a few more weeks!

it will be online by the time most of us internationals get it but yeah i just love the excitement of ripping open the package

Yeah I know, I was talking about the package As for the decision announcement, I’m pretty sure we’ll see it online sooner than the arrival of the actual letter

hey do u know if they priority mail rejections as well or only acceptances? also what is the weight of ur package?

It says 0.5 lbs. I wouldn’t really pay attention to it though, since it might only be a piece of paper. I guess if you’re accepted, you’ll get the acceptance package later on.

haha it prolly doesnt mean anything but im just tryin to find ways to find out earlier lol

dude @JRswish we applied to so many of the same schools

the amount of people that have said that to me is cray. I have a feeling im gonna be in the middle of a CC reunion in college

btw where u apply to?

I live in Washington, so I guess I’ll probably find out online first :/

Californian here. I think the only thing worse than getting rejected is not knowing. Ahhh!

i guess i wont be finding out till the 26th
no faith in the bureaucracy that is the USPS ;P

ED acceptee were. I wish you guys the best of luck with your Carnegie Mellon decisions. I hope you guys are happy wherever you end up.

I called today and they said that they are mailing letters tomorrow and will have info. up online by Tues. They want people to get the letters first…

FateGoneAwry16: Did the ED letter come priority mail or regular USPS? Also was it in a large or small envelope?

I don’t really remember, but I think it came by priority mail. If you get in RD, you’ll receive a massive envelope known as the “fat packet.” In other words, you can determine whether you’ve been admitted just by looking at the mail.

Wait, but EDs don’t get the fat packet? My memory’s foggy, but my letter was, I think, two pages.

They wanted to charge us $50 or so.

I’ll wait for the website, which will still be faster, thanks!

As I remember ED admits get their “fat packet” with the RD admits.
