I cant believe it contains a book!

Okay, maybe book is a wrong term! But a thick catalogue that contains information about housing and other general stuff

Ok, that sounds more plausible. Congrats anyways!

It is now officially snowing in western PA and for all of us CMU hopefuls who thought, “oh hey. I live close. Maybe I’ll get my letter early,” no such luck. Looks like the mail will be delayed today…

On the up side, 2 hour delays!!!

And congrats, fix!!!

Just received my letter.
I was placed on their “Priority Waiting List” (for SCS).
There was no catalog inside my letter, just the decision notification, a waitlist sheet I have to complete and send back, and two pages about the Regular Waitlist and the Priority Waitlist.

Heavy snow in Northern Va, hopefully I can get the letter today

Does anyone know if they sent out the letters with priority mail?

Hey all, I checked my “Where am I in the Process” and under Financial Aid Documents Sent, they sent a Financial Aid Eligibility Letter today. Do you think this means I’m in?

Dam lol I got that letter too. Gg to me

Sent from my XT897 using CC

Is there anything in the “where i am in the process” that indicates acceptance?

I checked a few more, it seems to be waitlisted or accepted. Nothing like reading into everything when the letter should get here in a few hours anyway.

^ I don’t have any buttons saying that. Only a red line “Admission and Financial Aid Notification”. Everyone else got the same?

Yep. Got the red line. Btw, would they still send me the FA document thing if I hadn’t applied for FA?

I just got the financial eligibility letter on my “Where am I in the Process” as well. I’m hoping this is a good sign.

@henne: What is “Priority Waiting List”?

According to the “Priority waitlist FAQ” I received, it’s a waitlist you can get on if you think CMU is your first choice : You get your final decision by may 10th (regular waitlist is by June 1st), if you don’t gain admission on the 10th may you get “deferred” to the regular waitlist, and the biggest point here : If you’re accepted from the waitlist, you HAVE to enroll, and to make a 800$ non refundable deposit within 72 hours.

I have a button o.o

Sent from my XT897 using CC

Well, I didn’t apply for FA, did you?

I have the button and when I click on it it says “Your financial aid processing is not yet complete. Check back on ‘Where Am I In the Process’ to be sure you’ve submitted all your required documents.”

But they also list that they’ve recieved all my FA documents in the list…
Does this mean anything?
