Decision Date?

Does anyone know when Swarthmore will release their decisions for RD applicants?

Also, will they be released online or on paper?

Paper letter only, as far as I know. and I do not know the exact date!!

I'm guessing they will mail on Thursday or Friday.

omg.. they are so discreet...

Are internationals notified by email or only by paper?

Please not the latter, a rejection would take forever to reach me.

Hey _Silence. I'm facing the same problem. I hope that there is an electronic way of notifying international applicants. Waiting for snailmail would make the wait absolutely unbearable!

I think internationals got emails in the past

thanks nngmm. hope for some good news soon!

Thanks.
Hope it'll be an email this year too.

A word of warning. In the past, the international e-mails didn't go out until April 1st. However, some applicants were able to get the "bad news" by reading the College's press release with the list of countries represented in the stack of acceptances. So, if you want to avoid that, don't read the press releases (if any) until you've gotten your e-mail or letter.

ahaha press release?? can u send me the link.. cuz iam international..i wont get down by the bad news..

It depends on what country you're from. I mean if you're Chinese (hypothetically) it probably won't be helpful as I'm sure several Chinese students will be admitted. Still it's pretty relevant for me, so I'll be waiting for the press release XD

Thanks for the heads up interesteddad. Would still like some indication of the admissions decision asap cos I'm pretty keen on swat

Right. Last year there were students who saw that 0 had been accepted from their country. Kind of a rude way of getting the news. Jim Bock was made aware of the problem, so hopefully they'll hold off on the press release this year.

Anyone know if decisions were sent out today?

i live in PA and got my decision today....waitlisted =

Nothing yet....I'm guessing it will arrive tomorrow.

i live in DC and nothing today

Ugh do we still think that internationals find out April 1? :

god, plz don’t just send snailmail to us internationals. it will definately kill me…
