Hey Everyone, RD applicant here!
I was wondering when decisions usually come out. Last year I saw they came out before April 1st, is this the norm? Or do decision usually come out on April 1st?
Anyone know any info about this year?

In recent years, decisions have been promulgated before 1 April. While I suspect Undergraduate Admissions will work diligently to do so again this year, in the last weeks several (I believe three or four) staff work days – including today – have been lost due to weather-related University closures. How greatly this has adversely impacted the already time-compressed evaluation/decision schedule is unknown, but obviously it can’t help.
@TopTier Thanks! That was very helpful
If I recall correctly, last spring’s regular decisions were released on March 27th – the Thursday before April 1st. But, as Top Tier points out, the university has been closed several days in recent weeks for weather, and it’s hard to tell what that may be doing to their timetable.
If I had to make a bet, I would say March 26th. It seems like admissions like Thursdays before April 1st, as SomeOldGuy pointed out. Additionally, last year Duke decision (7pm) was on the same day as Ivy Day (5pm).
