Decision Envelopes

As per dizzymom's request, and my own curiosity:

What do the envelopes look like for acceptances? Deferrals?

Thanks, and congratulations/condolences to those early birds.... I want to know what to hope for in my mailbox next week.

♥

I guess the deferrals/rejections are just standard #10 white envelopes.. but yeah, I'm really curious about what the envelopes look like for acceptances. :)

ooh garc - how do you do the heart :p

♥♥♥♥♥

.......ten charule....

Taken from the "I got in!!!" thread:

it's about 10 by 13 inches. In upper left, it has the P-town seal.
It is postmarked December 10th.

I'm feeling good right now. I went out to celebrate already and I'll continue to all weekend.

Good luck to all of you!

Congratulations on your acceptance, Resident! Hopefully the remainder of us will see you on campus next year....

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Giani, the heart is a symbol, like an accented letter. Just copy and paste it into your post, and make the font size bigger or change the color as you wish (these are size=+1).

I really hope you get in, kat1....

You too, kat2...... gives nervous, wistful hug

i hope u both get in!

oh my god...will my heart be able to wait for tuesday? gah!

and you know it goes without saying that I hope you all get in. soon. very soon.

Are the acceptances mailed by a higher priority than the deferrals/rejections? Can anyone tell by looking at the envelope?

yes, acceptances are mailed priority mail. deferrals/rejection are just regular mail.

Acceptances are in a 10in X 13in package with lotsa information in it
Deferrals/Rejections are in a regular small envelope. :(

what kind of information is in the envelope?

stuff that we are all dying to see and only ilcapo has :(

apparently residential college stuff, course info (at least the seminars, anyways), and I'm guessing a financial aid estimate (because it came in last year's). Yes, cap is one of the lucky few to have acquired this info. Way to go!

I heard something about a bumper sticker and honor code stuff.

There was an Honor Code Sheet, Letter, Financial Aid Award, Map of Princeton, Freshman Seminar Booklet, Decal for your car, and AP Policy Booklet

Decal too?! Ahh I really want that!!

Yeah, my friend has his from last year on his car.

i don't have a car :(

thats ok ecom, welcome to the club
