"Decision In the Mail"

Went on to WA and it said that my decision was in the mail. I've heard this is usually what happens when someone gets deferred.

I called the office to see, and they said they couldn't see anything at all about the decision (which they said was weird because they usually can) but that they'd alert the tech people...? They said the letter was in the mail, but they couldn't see any decision, and that it was made only yesterday.

So I'm expecting to get deferred.. was pretty sure of it anyway, but just wanted to know if anyone else has gotten this message and the result it brought!!

-Everyone's favorite smelly-urine-inducing vegetable

OK. I just called Michigan and they told me that my decision is in the mail as well. However no where on WolverineAccess does it say anything about my decision, and I told them that, and they were like "yeah, we know, you'll get something in the mail soon."

So this basicallhy means I was deferred or rejected, correct?

Keep in mind, that a high percentage of those deferred get accepted.
I believe my HS transcript, recs and essays were the key to my acceptance. The Michigan GPA is quite important.

If it means anything to you, I recieved a letter stating I'd have to send a mid-year report to get a final decision back in October and my WA still say nothing about a decision.. good luck!!

I talked to someone today, and they said my decision is in the mail, they made a decision last Friday, but there is nothing on WA about any decision, it hasn't changed since it was created. The only thing is, it's been about 9 weeks since everything was recieved by them, and I wouldn't expect them to make a deferral or denial before the 12-14 week window came around, unless the applicant was clearly unqualified. I doubt I'm clearly unqualified, but this still worries me.
