I just completed my application and sent in transcripts and SATs. How long will it take to hear from WVU regarding an admissions decision? Will I get a letter or do I need to check online? Thanks in advance.
They will get you a decision within 3 to 4 weeks. they sent my daughter a package.
@engball … Son received his package a week after applying 
@bester1 … S17 was accepted into WVU as an out of state student. His package didn’t include any information relating to cost of attendance and/or merit scholarship money. Did your D’s package include financials?
@MomStudent2017 …no final COA. Using the website, we think it will come in around $24-25…time will tell. She could swim there but would not receive much scholarship.
@MomStudent2017 I saw on another (long) thread that your S was accepted at Christopher Newport. Was this ED or EA? They are taking a longer time than many schools for notifying on the EA decision. We are waiting (and waiting). Thanks! Are you instate for CNU?
@Portercat … We’re in-state. Applied ED & notified by mail on 12/15. EA notification is 1/15.
Thanks @MomStudent2017. A few schools have the notification in January for EA, but are actually notifying earlier.
I guess not for CNU (although it would be a nice Christmas gift).
