"It sounds to me like they have accepted alot of the auto-accepts (36 act 4.0) and then this round was maybe the rejections and few admits."

I don't think that's true at all. I think it's more due to the randomness that comes with having so many applicants. my buddy only had a 28 ACT and was accepted within two weeks, so it's not just geniuses getting responses.

Here is a Dad doing the same thing for my daughter. Only thing is I am allowed to open the Decision Tab when it finally shows up. I am glad I am not the only one.

Well, I opened the decision tab (couldn't resist) but told my daughter later in the day that I "thought" decisions may have come in so she should probably check. (We never expected decisions to arrive on a Tuesday, which they did that week.) I wanted her to get the news herself. We're all so thrilled.

I know there are lots of you who are biting your fingernails and waiting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you and wishing you best of luck. It's got to be so hard when decisions are being released in such a random fashion.

I applied October 30th and have not received a decision... am I doomed? I check every day!! You are supposed to click Credentials and then View Decision. View Decision is located where? I do not see it :(

im so anxious.. everything was turned in on time (4 days before oct 30) except for my transcript, which was 2 days late... and i haven't heard anything! 4.0 gpa w/ 34 ACT and strong extraccuriculars :(

Chance me: USC/UMich/UF/UW"

I think the general consensus is that there is little rhyme or reason to michigan's notification process. this could be due to a number of things, not the least of which is that a great number of students applied early notification.

anyway, you're in good company so don't worry! a lot of us haven't heard back, which is a good indication that they simply haven't gotten around to our applications yet. as for changes, you have a resume to die for! seriously, it's good. i don't know about the others, but i think you stand a very, very good chance of being accepted at michigan. best of luck

wow thank you electriccool! i hope you are right! i just ordered a umich t-shirt and i want to wear it to school letting everyone know i got in -- not burn it in disappointment if ya'll know what i mean haha!

My daughter applied EA but her teacher rec wasn't received until 11/26. I called admissions yesterday and they said she will receive a decision in about 10 weeks from the 11/26 date. So everyone who applied after the 10/31 date or whose app wasn't complete should hear in that time span too I assume.

Ughh that probably means I have to wait a while. I got an email on the 31st saying my teacher rec was in and that was the last thing I needed, but now wolverine access says they recieved it Nov 12. I was hoping I would still hear by the 23rd.
