<p>There was no information at all on this on the Common Application website.</p>

<p>Each college is a bit different. Some send a letter only. Some will send you a link via e-mail or through the snail mail where you can go to check the status of your application. It will tell you if they have received all of your required items and will even show if you have been accepted (eventually). I have even heard of schools that text their decision! Check the website of each school that you applied to and it will probably have information as to how they communicate their decision.</p>
