Decision letters 2/25!

I got mine too!!! love the pretty red card stock, i just kept feelign the gold school seal on it. sooooooooooooo excited

im really upset cuz i applied idp, and my acceptance came in just a plain old white envelope =[
i want this red envelope!!!

I’d take any envelope that had something in it.

DD applied IDP last November, was accepted, immediately sent in deposit. In typical Bard fashion, no more peeps from them until today. No problem with that, but…

Today we received an empty envelope. It looks like it was never sealed well, and the contents are probably in Arkansas or someplace. The envelope had extra postage on it, so it probably contained several pages.

Grrrrrr. DD not really upset, but she said if she had applied RD and an empty envelope arrived, she would have gone postal.

I guess we’ll be calling them first thing Monday.

In the “things flowing smoothly” department, today we received a call from a parent of a current freshman, to answer any questions, address any parental issues. I had heard these calls were coming, so it was a comfort to me that the call actually came! :)

Please understand, I’m not knocking Bard at all. Their “way” is part of their charm. It’s Bard being Bard, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Equal cost scholarship is a scholarship given to students who are in the top 10 of their graduating high school class and are in need of financial aid. It allows the person to attend Bard for the amount in would cost them to attend an appropriate state school. So since I’m from NJ they will probably charge me like Rutgers tuition or something. I thought it would come with my financial aid stuff but it was written into my letter, I didn’t even notice it at first.

I am in Minnesota, and have not received the decision from Bard. This is the last school I am waiting to hear back from . I am so worried that the letter might have lost somewhere in the mail. :frowning: (Bard releases its admission the 25, shouldnt it be here already?)

^Yea, gazelle1991, I live in Virginia and definitely expected my decision today. A friend of mine got his on Saturday so hopefully I’ll get a letter tomorrow. Good luck!

It’s April 2nd already, and still I havent received any news from Bard. Guess, it’s a no then :frowning: but it’s better to know for sure. Anyone from MN got the decision yet?

If you haven’t heard today (after the mail arrives) then you should contact the admissions office. Letters were mailed out a week ago, and should have been received by everyone in the country by now. The fact that you haven’t received any letter may mean a lot of things but it doesn’t mean anything about your acceptance status.

Good luck.

I emailed them but apparently Bard is not very good at responding to emails and such. Well, I may have to call today.

@ gazelle1991,
I’m with you. I’m in Maryland but still nothing yet…I called couple of times but every time I was told the mail got sent out blablabalba…I’m going to call again

No shiny red envelope or card or whatever >< Do they treat internationals differently?

so Bard answered my email telling me to call them. The mail probably got lost or something. Anyone in the same situation? (havent received any news that is)

Hi gazelle,

I haven’t received the mail yet but I am from Europa so I think it will arrive later.
