Hey Lost - yeah, W&M is competitive but please don't think it was a waste of time to apply. You never quite know what the admission reps will base their decision on. There are plenty of entries on this board who said they were "surprised" they were accepted, or even rejected. Until then, wish for the best - but I know that is easier to say then do during the wait.

just a heads up for everyone in virginia waiting by their mailboxes today, i didn't get a letter yet. =(
i guess now it means we'll have them (at earliest) monday.

Last year they received RD decisions beginning 3-19.

That's been said. I called the admission office and they confirmed the letters have NOT been sent out yet. Perhaps next friday they will go out.

Another week of waiting begins tomorrow... I'm beginning to find it sad that I live my life around mail delivery... oh well, at least I am able to recognize it and laugh

wait, so based on the past few years, we can reasonably expect letters in the mail in the next week or so? (Just trying to piece together what everyone said)

so it appears, kmass. But, not in the mail just yet. Daughter is reasonable anxious, waiting on the mail. She's gotten acceptances at all safety schools but hasn't heard from the match or reach schools. I try not to be anxious but life will be easier when we do know her options. Her spring break, April 9-13, we hope to visit all acceptance schools that we've yet toured.

I don't open my D's mail but I couldn't help noticing a large envelope today from W&M with a huge "WELCOME" plastered across the front. They are in the mail! (We're in Virginia.)

Congrats ProudDad and momray! My daughter was accepted ED and we live in NOVA. The ED kids have already gotten together once and plan to do it again. If they have a facebook account, they can start meeting their classmates on the William and Mary Class of 2011 profile
