<p>She will be on a trip out of the county, and as of tonight, decided she doesn't want to take a chance on ruining her mood on this great choir trip - so she's gonna wait till April 7 when she gets back.....we (parents) can look, but I don't want that burden!</p>

<p>they say 5pm your local time, however... I would assume that it would be posted by ET, however they just want to avoid everyone checking at once and causing a server crash. </p>
<p>That happened to friends of mine for Cornell ED results. The site was down for hours.</p>
<p>Go to Brown's home page and hover over the Admissions tab. It says something to the effect of decisions being mailed March 31st and available online that same day at 5pm EDT. (that's Eastern Daylight Time, of course)</p>

<p>Me neither! They said they mailed it to me but I never got one. I checked both email and normal maid. Nada :(</p>
<p>So when they say local time, are they actually going to check the time zone from our application and not let us in until 5pm? I'd really like to get it at 2pm—at least it sort of makes up for having to wait an extra day for the East coast letters.</p>

<p>Ditto to those w/ no usernames. UGH; I'm going to go crazy w/ curiosity, and probably'll end up receiving my decision by snail-mail seven months later (given that I'm international) by which time I'll already be in another college. Or something.</p>
<p>Did you guys really not receive the username and password to the brown account, which would show the status of your application and financial aid materials? Mine was mailed to me shortly after I submitted Part I of my application.</p>
