<p>DD received acceptance packet today!!!! Very excited especially after getting WL with Bucknell...5 more colleges to hear from, then decisons to make. Personally Lafayette is the closest college ( 2hrs away), so Lafayette would be a good thing for us transporting/visiting her</p>

<p>I'm truly at a loss, I would have thought that I would have been offered admission. Probably will not stay on the waitlist, as I was looking at Lafayette as more of a low-match, and have already been accepted at Bucknell...Congrats to everyone who has been accepted.</p>

<p>Yevnoc-- What was your GPA? Also did you show interest in Lafayette? I presume they thought you were just using them as a safety and if you didn't show any interest they probably assumed you wouldn't enroll there. Colleges want to make their yield as high as possible so if you are over-qualified for a school and don't demonstrate interest, they see no need to admit you.</p>
