My daughter’s honors college notification came today. I called my husband from work and asked him to go out and check the mail, giving him your description of the envelope and it was there! Not sure who was more excited, him and I or her.
@Seattle, my daughter’s ea notice came less than a week ago and we only live about 70 minutes from the school. Mail is crazy at this time of the year. Have you tried going online to see if you can get into the housing application?

Did you apply for GMU? If so you should get in.

Lol I don’t think they do, but what are your stats?
I had a 3.25 UW GPA and 1560 SAT when I applied and I got my acceptance less than a month later.

Stats: 1750 SAT 3.89 GPA, AP curriculum.

What is the housing website?

I’m just desperate for any sort of notification.

Congratulations to everyone who has received their letter so far!!! :)

Seattle, give them a call tomorrow.

Hi! I got my letter 12/11.

I was accepted and found out that I was also accepted into the honors college today!
My stats:
SAT: 1480/2210
SAT II: US History 670; Math I 790
GPA: (weighted) 4.2

I will have completed 8 AP classes by the time I graduate.

It seems that most people are on the East Coast? Is that right? Tell me where you are? Maybe it is taking a little bit longer because I’m on the West Coast…

I am on the east coast! I actually live about ten minutes away from campus. Also, I know that they sent decisions out alphabetically, and my last name is toward the beginning of the alphabet.

VA - in-state school. DS really liked it when we visited so he could see himself there.

ShineSOBright: That would make sense on why its taking so long. I live on the West Coast AND my last name is towards the end of the alphabet (S). Its just so nerve-wracking…

ShineSoBright: Congratulations on the Honors College acceptance!

I’m starting to think I didn’t get into the Honors College because I live on the East Coast and my last name is somewhere in the middle of the alphabet? Maybe my SAT scores are the issue…

Yep Marshall I think we’re on the same page. I haven’t gotten my letter either, and I was told they had already been accepted.

I thought getting into honors college would be a lot easier, so I’m a bit bummed and there goes any shot at a scholarship.

Hey, so I have okay’ish news. The reason I hadn’t gotten any notification was because my application was OFFICIALLY complete a little after the due date, in terms of supporting materials. My transcript wasn’t matched till late November so this is why I my application is still under review. They said I will probably get word a little bit before the Regular Decision Applicants.

At least now I don’t have to worry that something else happened.

My DD was accepted via mail early December. Received Honors College packet on Dec. 11. We live in PA.

SATs: 1300/1920
GPA (weighted): 4.6
6 APs
8 Varsity letters
NHS
Student council

Goodluck to everyone!

Accepted!! :D

My daughter finished her application (online) around the 15th of Dec and received her acceptance letter on the 8th of January.

Congratulations to all!

I recently received my Honors College e-mail/letter, around January 9. :)

@marshmllow95 how long after your admissions decision did you receive honors college notification?

@Seattle206 - I’d say 3 1/2 weeks, almost a month.

Accepted
ACT: 27
GPA: 3.7 UW
Some AP’s: Physics C, Calculus BC, Psychology …

In state BTW…
