are letters sent prior to the 15th or on the 15th? I live in boston so if they are sent prior to the 15th is there a chance I will find out thursday or friday of this week? please post what you think and also how sure you are…any help is appreciated.

Good question. I live a good distance away and was wondering if they are mailed on the 15th because if so I won't be able to find out till about tuesday or later.

I remember reading one person on here saying they received their EA acceptance letter on the 18th last year, which either means the mail was held up and they sent it out before the 15th, or that they actually did send it out on the 15th...either way I'm expecting it around the 16/17th.

will we find out online before that?

I don't think so. Snail Mail Only.

BC said they mail letters on the 14th, and decisions aren't online

I am from the Midwest and I received the big envelope from BC on Dec 16th last year, if that helps. I understand how hard it is to wait, but for the EA applicants the wait is almost over!

Thanks mnwinwin, how do you like it (assuming you attend)???

Yes I'm am at Boston College and it has been the greatest on many levels: A LOT of fun (although with the 5 tough finals I have coming up, no sleep and stressing, fun isn't really were I'm at right now) , great people from all over the country, Boston rocks, Hockey, Football and Basketball games are awesome and I'm challenged academically and intellectually everyday by the people around me as well as from the profs and the course content. But it is not so cutthroat, even in premed and curve grading, that we aren't helping each other out. I chose BC over many other great schools and over lots of scholarship money but I'm happy with my choice and know I made the right one. I wish all of the prospective applicants luck, BC is a great place to be.

The worst part about the decisions possibly being mailed on the 15th is that the 16th is a Sunday. Also, there is supposed to be a Noreaster coming through Boston on Thursday night so hopefully they get them in the mail before it comes if they let them out on the 14th!

" thru rain or sleet or snow or hail " or something like that, The post office will not be shut down for a Nor'easter.

I live in Vermont, and we got the blizzard you're going to get...it was mostly slushy and warm snow, not a typical noreaster. Wouldn't worry about it.

LOL Ayn, I watched the news I'm pretty sure this one is near Michigan right now and coming east...but thanks a lot mnwinwin, I really want to get in that much more now!

My friend's brother received his letter the 17th last year, and we're right outside of Boston, if that helps!

I'm reading that the decision date is X-mas... this can't be true can it? i can't wait that long!

All I know is that it's NOT on Christmas. I know they would never do that to us :)

Why not... the "Gift from God" theme fits

Haha, so I called BC's admissions office today to ask for my agora password and when I could expect my decision, and they were closed because of the f-ing snow storm, haha. I was so mad.

do you guys think they're going to mail out tomorrow or saturday then?
i'm sooo nervous. especially since a lot of people are hearing
