I still haven’t heard from admissions yet. Kind of getting nervous that maybe I didn’t even get my application completed. Naviance states transcript sent, Clemson application site only states Submitted. Now I’m kind of thinking that I haven’t had much correspondance from admissions. Thought I had a strong app GPA 3.7 with plenty honors and AP, 1370 SAT, lots EC’s and community service. Freaking out.
Don’t freak out yet. Mail isn’t instantaneous. Did you get an email from the admissions office stating your XID? It also said what else was needed from you to complete your app. If you got this, and there was nothing else needed, then rest easy. From an admitted student with a lower GPA, I think you have a great chance! Hang in there
When did you apply? I think the decisions sent out this week were only if you applied by the priority deadline.
Curious to know GPA and SAT scores of other wait listed 2015 freshmans. My daughter had 3.75 uw GPA with a 680 in math and 600 in reading. Great resume. She is devastated. First choice and target school. Other universities were tougher! Now she is expecting all denials!
Your daughter probably has a good chance to get accepted from wait listed. My daughter is accepted with very similar stats of GPA and SAT (same score of math, reading slightly lower). Out of State, Pre Business, good EC (Three year consecutive national champions of cheerleading). Best of luck!
