Decision Notification

Hi, these are probably a stupid question, but I'm going to ask it anyway because:
1. I'm nervous.
2. I'm curios.
3. both 1 & 3 ;-).

How does top colleges/ universities like MIT etc... send out their notifications?
Is it through an express mail (or express mail only if you are accepted?) ?
Is it always in a large envelope (if accepted)?

Thank you.

every school does it differently.

some even allow you to check your decision online.

which schools have you applied to? let us know and maybe we can help you by telling you the method of choice for each college.

MIT sends out a tube to the accepted freshmen, I think it's probably the same for transfers.

I've applied to anumber of schools, but I'm especially interested in Caltech which suppose to send their decision on May first (this week...) and MIT that will send their decision on May 15th.
I know that for most schools one can check his/her status online, but these schools dont offer it for transfer applicants.
