Decision Notification

How does CU notify applicants? and when? And also, do they send a notification when they received all your app materials b/c I didn't get one...?

I got my acceptance letter today in the mail via USPS priority mail. uh… hope this helps. (I live in NJ)

stupoop, would you like to tell me about your test scores? thx

Did CU send an email too or only USPS?

Thanks

I didn’t get an email yet…only usps

my credentials:
Unweighted GPA: 3.83
Weighted GPA: 4.48
ACT: 32 (35M, 35S, 30E, 27CR) (lol I suck)
SAT II Chemistry: 770
SAT II Math II: 800
SAT II Physics: 800
AP Calculus BC: 5
AP Chemistry: 5
AP Computer Science A: 5

Okay, now I’m freaked. I didn’t get any emails nor did I receive a package. I applied for architecture though.

a friend of mine is applying to arch and she got her notification yesterday, which is surprising since we live in California.

Kinda made me lose hope about Cooper Union  oh well.

akmeecheen,
did your friend receive an email? usps priority? Anyone else get notification about arch?

It was by mail, i dont know what service - probably usps priority.

Yea… didnt get any notification. Well… damn! but im not suprised. i think i finished the home test at 4 am and i dont even remember some of the things i wrote/drew hahah

well there is a waiting list for arch this year
one foot in and the other out

Sigh…the waiting game is horrible. I just wanna find out and be over with it.

and @freakintexan: I finished mine after a couple days of non-stop, low-sleep work… Got it done tuesday 4:45 pm and got to the mail center at 5:15. It closes at 5:30. 15 more minutes and my hometest woulda reached them a day late.

So who’s architecture out of us this year?

i am architecture, and my hometest story was crazy

i finished everything and delivered it by hand
3 days later, my mom finds the original sheet of the last page at her works photo copy machine, turns out i never did the last page and my hometest is sent out already.
It was a very emotional week. But thank god was able to complete it and turn it in on time.
found out i was waitlisted over the weekend. Even if I don’t get of the waiting list. I really am happy that they did recognize my potential. I just have to “wait” and see what happens. In any case, it has truly been a learning experience.

I wish luck to all of you.

just wondering…wasn’t the hometest supposed to be sent by Feb 25th? I sent mine on Feb 25th.

the hometest was due AT Cooper by Feb.25th. But I’m sure they reviewed late comers (it would be so mean not to!)

is there anyone got accepted? and decides not to go? or is there anyone got waitlist

So who’s architecture out of us this year?

me :)

I didn’t get a decision in the mail today… (i applied for architecture)
and i live like an hour - 2hours away in CT… is that bad??

did they not send out decisions all at once?

freakintexan,
did you get your acceptance letter today?
