decision on the decisions

don't you think that it's late for announcing decisions date about 14.03? I think that it may be much later this year, about 28.03.

but, does anybody know when they announced decision date last year?

In short, no. MIT won't announce a decision date until they are sure they can actually announce decisions on that date -- usually they don't announce until they're mostly through selection.

If you look through Matt's blog archives, you can see that last year, decisions were released on March 15. The announcement that they would be made March 15 (here) was not made until March 9.

so means approx a week before they'll let us know?

^^^ or more...
they have a lot of apps to sort through

oh...

i wish time travel was a possibility
heck even a fast forward button wud work...

prateek92, I feel the same way.

All I want to do is see a picture of myself on the day of the decision! That would be enough! I'm totally ganna get rejected, theres no way im getting accepted. You need tons of national and international recognition and ****!

That's not true. I know several early admits who haven't held many/any honors.

@AKDigger: dont be soo pessimistic....
anything can happen with admissions these days :)

Admission is such a myth. Anything can happen

As a fellow international applicant, I completely understand how you feel. We are going against 3-4% acceptance rate and it seems everything is against us. Best Wishes though. Lets hope for the best but at the same time be ready to accept the worst.

can't wait!
can't wait!
can't waaaaait!

i even put a special mit callendar with "days left:" on my desk xD but, in fact, i don't really know... i assumed 14 then. so...

10...
