<p>Hi, so I have like a week to decide whether I want to go to MSU or OSU. I'm very aware of the rivalry between the schools so no matter which school I end up in, I'm also going to have to learn to hate the other one. Anyway, my problem is I don't think I know enough about either schools since it's so far away from me. So it'll be great help if you guys can tell me pros and cons about MSU and why you would want to go there. </p>

<p>From my research, OSU is ranked higher than MSU in both US Weekly and Business Week. Being that I'm going to major in business, I'm just mainly concerned about the business school. On the other hand, students from MSU ranks the academics in their school higher than the buckeyes do for OSU. So, do I listen to the rankings or what the students say? </p>

<p>I know it'll be better if I just visit the schools myself but I'm all the way in NYC and it's not like I can just hop on the next plane to Michigan in the middle of the school year.</p>

<p>So any comments about the academics, teachers, students, campus.. etc would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.</p>

<p>I would go to MSU if I were you, less mulletts.</p>

<p>Pretty much, both schools are comparable, and according to business week MSU has better UG and Grad business(48 v. 62; 29 v. 2nd tier).</p>

<p>East Lansing is more of a college town than Columbus. Both party. Etc.</p>

<p>MSU is cooler - Sparty vs. a frigging nut. Izzo vs. Matta. The Jack Breslin Student Events Center vs. Value City Arena. and so on.</p>

<p>On the banks of the Red Cedar there's a school that's known to all...</p>

<p>It's speciality is winning, and those Spartans play good ball...</p>

<p>Bonnychan--Go to MSU. I grew up in Columbus and then went to MSU. There is no comparison in campus quality. East Lansing is all about MSU and the campus is beautiful (for Big 10--). OSU is just north of downtown Columbus and neighborhoods around are not very nice. We just visited East Lansing with S#1 for possible application next year. MSU is still great and business school is excellent. Many students at MSU from NY/NJ area too. OSU has some great departments, but MSU feels much friendlier as well. Go Green, Go White.</p>

<p>Well... if you are looking for Logistics/Supply Chain Management, MSU will be your choice! And I love MSU!! :D</p>
