decision question

Got the popup
seems next week they will be sent

Alright I just got the pop-up

Still no popup, maybe that means i'm deferred/rejected :[ haha

I received the pop-up today around 9pm.

it's coming...

Finally got the pop-up

D got the pop-up and I saw the blog re: "week of 12/17." What a nail biter! She's in at Emerson and Fordham but NEU is her first choice.

i applied to fordham and neu also, but i havent heard from fordham yet (or neu)

Finally got it.

i hope they post em tommorow lol

I got the pop up. I am totally expecting a rejection though since my SAT scores don't match, but I'm crossing my fingers to be be deferred.

what were your sat

got my pop up.

i better get accepted into music industry...

anyone else apply to music industry?

I don't even want to bother putting them out there since they are kind of lower than the middle percentage that the school wants. My reading is pretty much there though and my writing score is pretty great (even though they don't look at them.) My math score is the only one that is kind of below, but I'm not good at math and have never been good at it, which is just a fact of life. I mean, if I get rejected from this school and others because of math then I don't really want to be apart of an institution that can't look past an obvious weakness to see the other areas in which I excel. I know my reccommendations focused on my strengths in english and writing.

I do notice on Collegeboard that there are certain percentage who do get in with my scores, so I'm keeping the hope alive.

So has everyone who applied EA received the pop-up? I'm wondering if the pop-up means either accepted or denied. And if your boxes are still there, if that means a deferral. Just a thought... Also I'm curious how many people get flat out denied, or just deferred to the RD round. Any comments from CC people who have kids that went through this?

I applied EA and still haven't gotten the pop up yet, it still just shows the boxes being grayed out. I don't know what this means, but im hoping it means nothing

I applied EA and I have the pop-up. It just returns me to the login screen after pressing okay.

I'm nervous as hell.

It has occurred to me that my household will be very unpleasant if my daughter doesn't get into Northeastern..this fall was a stressful one between SATs, all of the essays and applications..
There are three of her colleges that will send out letters/emails this week.
Some of the other posts from her other schools have listed acceptance/ deferral / rejections..some of the listed stats ( for rejections ) just goes to show how many students are applying for each school.
I feel sorry for all of the kids who are getting disappointing results.

Matt310, I read on NEU website this year they ARE including the writing portion of SAT. So good luck!

Thanks for the tidbit RatedPG. I hope that helps me some.

I noticed before I got the pop up that they received my SAT scores 11/02, but my best scores were from the November SAT. I hope they ended up getting my Nov. scores from my school or College Board. The reason I mention this is because they never updated the page or anything that they got the newer scores or anything. Keeping those fingers crossed though.
