Decision Status--AHHH

So I applied back in December for both the BA and Sc interfaculty and BSc in Physical sciences programs. I am a US applicant. I also applied to University of Toronto. I received an offer from UofT but have yet to receive anything from McGill.

As of now, my status has been Reviewed-Decision Pending for about 3 weeks. Is it likely that I’ll be rejected at this point? Would it make sense for me to have gotten an offer from UofT but a rejection from McGill? I’m seriously at a loss at how McGill does this how decision process.

Oh here are my stats:
ACT: 29
GPA: 3.44 UW and 4.11 W
IB Diploma; roughly 36 predicted

McGill is significantly more selective than U of T. You are borderline or below the minima for those programs.

That doesn’t really answer when I should hear. If the decision pending status has been up for awhile, shouldn’t I not have to wait much longer?

I don’t think that there is a set time that you will hear back. I think it’s random, but I am not sure.

In case you haven’t found it already, here’s a rough timetable of dates: http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/knowingstatus/decision#decision
