Decision time! Help please?

Hi, I've been accepted to the Chemical Engineering program at the following universities. I need you guys' opinion on which one of these is better academically.

Michigan State University
ASU
U of Arizona
U of Iowa
Texas Tech
U of Nebraska - Lincoln

Thanks in advance :)

Can you afford all those OOS public Us? Are all of them ABET accredited in Chem E?

If any of these schools are in-state for you, that would be a big plus.

Cost differences?

I know that U of I is way better than Texas Tech. I am unsure of the other schools and how they compare though. Money is a consideration too.

Yea ‘Erin’s dad’. I’m quite sure I can afford all of these universities :)

Nah happy1, I’m an international student, so it wouldn’t make a difference. And cost is completely immaterial (well, should it cross $150k, then that’s a problem).

Doesn’t matter barrk123

As an international student, I would consider the type of weather you are used to and also the diversity of the community surrounding the campus. Based on the lack of diversity outside of campus I would eliminate Texas Tech and Nebraska. Iowa and Michigan State offer a more open and liberal vibe although still not so diverse. Arizona and Arizona State offer a more diverse community but with some very conservative politics. Personally, I would go to Michigan State.

Then I would go with Michigan State.

I think that UArizona and MI State would be the two best options.
