I got the admission from berkely and la, but I'm considering which one is better to choose if I plan to apply to the dental school after the graduation.</p>
<p>Some people say that it is better to get a good GPA in UCLA than lower GPA in Berkeley cuz it is diffcult to get a good grade in a big competition among the students in Berkeley. </p>
<p>If you have some suggestion or idea, please share...

<p>I would recommend seeing the place(s) for yourself before going any further. You can only go so far with people's opinions on a university. In the end, it's all about your perspective on it, not other's.</p>
<p>Just because you go to UCLA doesn't mean you'll get higher GPA, and just because you go to Berkeley doesn't mean you'll get lower.</p>
<p>Even if there's a slight difference, i'm sure the gap is less than .1 GPA point, which is insignicant in grad's POV.</p>
<p>pre-dental? cool! im pre-dental my self and im going to UCLA!!! UCLA has its own dental school and hospital for better preparation! UCB does not have dental or medical school and i heard it's extremely hard to get high grades at UCB so you are going to have low GPA and can't get into dental school! i'll c u at UCLA! but if you want really high GPA go to Stateschool(CSU or less competitive UC's)</p>

I also think i can get higher GPA if I go to state school, but there may be considerations for the school rankings also..
So, very complicating to decide..</p>
