I recently got accepted to U Del but am also considering Tulane and Boulder. I don't know a whole lot about living at Delaware and the campus life there can anyone give me some information good or bad?

Ben - Family members have attended each of these universities. All good choices IMHO.

I live in Delaware and have visited the campus a few times, including one overnight stay. The dorm I stayed in was spacious, clean (almost sterile), and air conditioned, but I think it had been built recently and is now offered only to upperclassmen.

I think the campus has a bus system, but it's not so huge that you couldn't navigate by foot or bike (unless you're going to the biotech building, which is a bit farther out).

Newark isn't the most exciting city, but there is a well-defined "college town" with lots of restaurants and shops. I believe the malls aren't too far by car. Also, the beaches and outlets are about two hours south, should you be so inclined.

That's most of what I know. Hope it helps.

Newark is a great college town. There is a main street, full of great places to eat. It's a big party town, but very fun!

There is a movies in the town and the Christiana Mall is only 10-15 minutes away by drive? There are beaches 2 hours away that many of the students go to for break or on weekends!
