"Decisioned" on SeaLevel- what does this mean!

Hi!

I’m applying to UNCW as an OOS freshman and I checked my sealevel account last night. It said “Received-Decisioned” next to the application status- does this mean that I was denied (does it normally say “received-accepted” if one was accepted)? I haven’t gotten any letter yet, so does that mean I will receive one soon? I applied in late October.

Thanks in advance!! :slight_smile:

It means that your letter will come in the mail very soon. It won’t mention exactly what decision until the letter is actually received at your house.

Nice that you’re hearing back so early as an OOS student, I didn’t hear back until January when I applied. Good luck! :slight_smile:

@LBad96 Ahhh okay thank you!!

@egrace14 my daughter’s portal changed also. Hope we find out this is good news soon:)

Did anyone else’s portal change to “decisioned”?

I have “received-decisioned”

@stownsend1 I was denied OOS with 90 GPA and 28 ACT, but best of luck to your daughter!! Hope her news is a little better than mine :slight_smile:

@whitey23 Good luck!! Hope you get some good news soon :slight_smile:

@egrace14 so so sorry. Still haven’t heard anything else. Did you apply under a particular major?

@stownsend1 It’s okay, thank you- I’m sure you guys will hear back soon! I applied as a psychology major.

I’m so sorry to hear of your rejection, EG. I know how much you wanted to get in here. :frowning: If you want, I can help give you advice for any of your other schools as well!

@LBad96 It’s okay, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go south or not yet (I’m from NY) so I guess I just had the decision made for me, haha! My other tops are Providence College, Salve Regina (honors college), and Connecticut College (reach but I love it). I’m also applying to URI, College of Charleston and Stonehill but I’m indifferent to them. I’m so nervous that I’m not going to get into any of them now, so if you have any advice that’d be great!! :slight_smile:

I also noticed on SeaLevel it changed from just “Received” to “Received-Decisioned”. My stats are 4.1 Weighted GPA(3.5 UW), 1210 SAT, 3 AP courses taken, 2 courses dual enrolled, and a few EC’s. I hope to get in as this is one of my top choices.

@egrace14 just messaged you!

@HSstudentNC it’s looking good, let’s hope for some positive news!!
