is he kidding? why are we (as in Yale AND Harvard) limited to 1 word entries?

I don't know. Mods are all-powerful. They can do whatever they want.

It's only for that one thread, just for the purpose of eliminating clutter.

I thought he was only interested in Harvard.

haha. we should still create that post where we can use the fun colorful template for our decisions.

It's actually very nice: it's so that we can just keep a count without wading through a bunch of superfluous trash.

In addition, I agree with ambrosia. There's nothing stopping us from having (gasp) more than one thread about decisions. It's just that one will be convenient for those looking for a quick count.

We actually are still making a thread with the format previously posted. There will be no clutter in that thread either. We can have both threads.

Yes. Newt's idea for formatting the stats still stands. More detail and occasional totals, as well as other boards. But IF those boards get as bad as many of the other Forums, then we can have a moderator controlled fallback.

Thread 1: Official One Word Results
Thread 2: Decision with Stats as copied previously
Thread 3: Accepted Thread
Thread 4: Deferred Thread
Thread 5: Rejected Thread
Thread 6: Discussion of Results thread

sound appropiate??

so many threads...so confused...

Also, since I'm sure someone annoying is going to post "improperly" in the thread designated Thread 2, we should all agree that if someone does this we won't post like forty more times telling them to stop. Because that will be three times as annoying. :D

Great Ritz. Here are name ideas.
Thread 1: Official One Word Results
Thread 2: Yale EA Results
Thread 3: Yale EA Accepted
Thread 4: Yale EA Rejected
Thread 5: Yale EA Deferred
Thread 6: Yale EA Discussion

and one more Yale EA Technical/Mail issues (to discuss arrival times, Yale/admit problems, etc.)

I think that by having Yale EA at the beginning of all of them, it will look official and keep conversation mostly within those threads.

Good point, Dtown.

thanks for cleaning mine up nickleby!

Not cleaning, "making more perfect"

yay!! perfectness rulse! (notice ghettoness)
