“That’s almost 1/4 of my parents’ income so I highly doubt my parents will want me attending a school they can barely pronounce all the way in NY when I’m in CA.”

That is funny because I still do not know how to pronounce it.

Haha yeah we have quite similar EFCs. What other schools did you apply to?

is the Leadership Award renewable through all four years?

I applied to MIT, Cornell, Columbia, Duke, and Johns Hopkins for fun because they are high reaches but they are my dream schools. I got accepted to Drexel, SUNY Binghamton, SUNY Buffalo, WPI, and CUNY so far. I was wait-listed at University of Pittsburgh. I am also looking forward to hearing from Northeastern, Syracuse, SUNY Stony Brook, and University of Rochester. I applied to Elon before I decided I was interested in engineering. You?

The Leadership Award is renewable and you do not need to maintain a certain GPA to keep it.

Did anyone not get financial aid information?

hello guys~
i get accepted as well~
woo~woo~
i love how they hav a background music for celebration :D

and i hav a question to ask
where can i find my scholarship and financial aid offered?

Are they notifying merit or grant or aid info via email or is it somewhere on admitted student site? Appreciate your responses. Have sent out an email to RPI as I was not able to reach them on phone.

My final decision is heavily dependent on the merit/aid info.

My SAT I scores: M:800 R:720; W:750
SAT II: 800/800/800 (Phy/Chem/M2)

Not great ECs however.

Congrats to all who got in.

D got $19,200 per yr in Merit/Grants plus $5,500 in partially sub direct loans.

Does anyone know if Grants are automatically renewable on an annual basis, assuming student is in good standing?

Wow, I was so suprised when I saw that I was accepted. I never thought that would happen.

If they have your financial aid done, the link is on the bottom of the accepted students page under letters on file

hey guys i got admitted into rensselaer polytech
i’m korean
2.9 uw and 3.29 w
2050 on sat
8 AP
major chemistry…good essay
got so much financial aid i only have to pay 170000
sorry to people who failed to get in i feel like i got into such a prestigious school with so low academic score

How in the world you got in with 2.9UW? o.o

so i applied to the RPI-AMC program, but when they sent me a second application just for the AMC part, i decided not to apply because it cost $100 more. does that mean i can’t get into RPI itself? when i checked the online thing, it said that my decision would come in the mail because it was a special program, but since i technically didn’t finish the application for the special program, i’m really confused

Vloria am i lucky? people are telling me i’m lucky

Yeah you are lucky!

I was accepted with 2320 SATI and ranked 3 of 430.

Got $20000/yr from scholarships and $5500/yr federal loans…not 100% satisfied with this package. Is the federal grant/loan consistent from school to school?

I got like one D in sophomore year and never got A in junior year all of my grades in junior year was Cs and Bs. But i did well on senior year and all As and Bs :)

My DS got accepted but there was no info about finanical aid. Does that mean NO aid or we have to wait?
