:O you live in virginia too? i live in fairfax, VA
anyway there is link below that explains how much your financial aid is

Apparently my application has been temporarily made inactive because I didn’t submit the international certificate of finances. They said if I can get it across to them by the 25th, they can give me a decision.

This really sucks I asked specifically if I could fax the international certificate of finances and they said it was fine as long as I mailed in the hard copy soon. I live in a country where sending mail to the US is a bit difficult right now, so I figured I could send them the hard copy through courier once I got a decision… :/

Actually, I just re-read their message on my application status and it says my application was never complete… Can anyone help with this? Do you all think that thats still because of the certificate of finances?

3.4gpa
25 ACT
3 AP’s total

I have no idea what made RPI choose me but i am feeling soooooooooo good right now! &no i ain’t ■■■■■■■■…

-1st gen?

No financial aid letter yet…how come all of you guys got yours so quick @_@

@Viloria: Keep in mind that ilovesat applied from Korea where educational standards are ridiculously higher than the American standards. A 2.9UW in Korea would probably be something close to a 3.7+ in the States. I’m just throwing a random number out there but you get my point.

Anyway, I got a 19.2K scholarship but no grants and only an additional $7,500 in federal aid (loans + work-study) which doesn’t make it much more affordable but I’m glad I got into one of my match schools
Oh, and I didn’t know what was more fun: finding out that I got in or the fact that marching band music started playing the instant I reached that page. xD

redspikyball- ilovesat is a virginia resident

haha i’m from virginia…i’m stupid my school isn’t even that good i’m just lucky student lol

Oh my bad… lmao. I read your post wrong xD

I got waitlisted =/…

does anyone know when they release waitlist decisions?

I applied and was rejected from the Physician-Scientist program, then reapplied as per their request as a regular applicant. I got this message on my app screen: “Due to the special nature of the program, your admission decision will be released via postal mail only. Thank you for your patience.” Any ideas on what this means? I don’t really care too much after an admit to WUSTL yesterday, but it would be really good/nice to know.

Waitlisted here.

Thanks Kaitanuva. any idea why only few got that message?.

@virginia100 probably you handed financial aid late? virginia100 you going to R.P.I? I think i will definitely go there. Kinda worried about 75% boys but whatever I can get good girlfriend when i graduate from good univ.

RPI COA (Tuition, Fees, R&B) up 4.85% over last year to $54,679. S only got 15.5K metalist scholarship so RPI is out of the running. Good luck to others, S liked the school but now its basically the most expensive option thus far of all his acceptances.

RPI COA will be $60K in 2 years, WOW!
