Today, a friend of mine told me she knew someone who already got accepted EA. They apparently submitted their application in early October.
I thought that Michigan releases decisions in December, and usually all the EA decisions at the same time (within 24 hours).
Is this person lying?

Some people get their decisions early, however, this is unusual and certainly not the norm.

Not a chance unless a recruited athlete or a similar situation.

Michigan no longer releases acceptances at this time. All decisions are released on the same day (likely to be around December 20 this year). The only exception would be recruited athletes.

Alexandre, weren’t they doing some “instant app reviews” at a couple targeted Detroit schools a few year’s back? Anyway, it WOULD be very unusual unless a recruited athlete that they needed to secure.
