<p>UDel is one of my safeties and it was the first response I received! I was accepted into their Honors Program with 15,000 (10000 UDel Scholar and 5000 RISE). Does anyone know what the University of Delaware Scholar Scholarship is? Thanks! And congrats to everyone that got accepted.</p>

<p>As of 5 minutes ago, my D’s My Blue Hen showed no change in status, no acceptance, no rejection, nothing. I have to believe at this point that the bad news will be arriving in the mail tonight. If anyone gets an acceptance letter today, and finds that their My Blue Hen status hasn’t changed to reflect anything, I would appreciate you posting that. It would at least give my D hope until the mail arrives later this afternoon. Thanks.</p>
<p>My son was accepted 1440/2180 SAT, no scholarship. Bummed. It was his first choice.</p>
<p>scavena. Son should call (and also email) and tell them that UDel is his first choice and he is disappointed that he did not receive scholarship $$. It appears they think he is their safety. He should ask them for a review. </p>

<p>Scavena, I agree with Sax about calling and e-mailing. I truly think they made a mistake. There was someone that posted about Distinguised Scholars that had a 2170, so if they were looking at him/her for full scholarship, your DS should have gotten something.</p>
<p>Son was accepted Chemical Engineering, 9000 scholarship. Still think he is going to choose University of Maryland Baltimore County which was more generous with their merit aid. NOTE: NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED ON MY BLUE HEN HOME yet, however, he got the big yellow envelope in today’s mail</p>

<p>Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I remember how brutal the wait was for my DD, but now she is a happy sophomore at UD. (Can’t believe it’s almost half-way over!).</p>

<p>My DS does not have the fabulous stats of most of the other posters on this thread, so maybe he will get different news. It is the highest priced school he has applied to, so it won’t break my heart. It is the closest to my house.</p>

<p>Hey everyone, I have been waiting anxiously also and my Blue Hen account has not been updated at all… didn’t even get an email so I assumed the worst. But today I got the big yellow envelope in the mail!!
Bottom line-Udel is weird as hell, they won’t update your account, they won’t even email you…but they will accept you. My only guess is they are being extra careful with the online acceptances because of the whole scandal last year.</p>
