<p>It usually means that they need your mid-year grades to make a final decision. It should say “Mid yr/second quarter grades” under your checklist. I wouldn’t be too worried about getting this status. I’ve done my fair share of research and it seems that the majority get this status.</p>

<p>I dont know when the status changes. I checked on a Thursday morning and it said something like awaiting decision. Then I checked the next monday and it was accepted. </p>

<p>How long does the status “Further review required” stays before the decision comes up??Given that I submitted all the additional requirements and it was processed a week ago. I am so nervous about it. CAN’T WAIT</p>
<p>@futurefresh There is no specified time attached to how flexible your admission status is. Mine went to ‘Further Review Required’ around the third week of January. I submitted my documents, and got my decision just today. Accepted to management and arts!</p>

<p>I’m a US student who applied to Desautels. My application status was “awaiting further documentation” or something like that, until I uploaded my Midyear grades yesterday. I haven’t received any letters, but I checked Minerva this morning and was “accepted pending final results” 
So exciting!</p>

<p>My app was on “Further Review Required” for a few weeks as they were waiting for my midterm grades. I uploaded them onto the app last night around 8 pm. I wasn’t expecting a decision so soon, but I woke up this morning and much to my surprise i had been admitted to both the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering. I wasn’t expecting an update so quickly! So happy right now!</p>

<p>My application went from Ready for review to further review required a few days ago. I had to upload my IB scores transcript (already took the exams, currently taking a gap year). I uploaded them on the 7th, and my Minerva says “received on the 7th of Feb” in the box close to my IB scores. However my status still indicates further review required eventhoug I uploaded all the documents they asked. Is it normal?</p>

My status just changed to “further review required” : they want my 2nd trimester grades (which won’t be available for a while…).
That’s strange, since I know some other frenchies were already accepted (so, without their 2nd trimester grades). Is that a bad sign ?
Also, it’s kinda annoying how they consider only the grades… I mean, I my H.S., some teacher grade from 3/20 to 15/20, and other grade from 9/10 to 20/20… So if you have a 15/20 average you can be better than someone who has a 18/20 average… That’s silly, I know, but there’s nowhere they can be aware of that, since they don’t ask for a school profile (The school grading system is explained in the school profile my school sent to the CommonApp).</p>
