Decisions are out!

Check the status page. Good luck!

It would be interesting if you guys all posted a synopsis of your stats and whether you got in or not.

Ah yes, the good ole decisions! They took a perfectly wonderful day and made it into...well...a not so wonderful one.

It looks like it's the U of Wyoming for me! Which I must admit is much more climate friendly for someone like me who hates hot and loves the cold and snow.
But oh well, I suppose I'll try and transfer next year...

Did anyone get accepted?

Boohoo.

UChicago, here I come! (this school was originally my first choice before my parents brainwashed me) Of course, I still have to apply...

My chances thread is in here. Bow down before my awesome 25% class rank.

Yeah if you didn't get accepted it's OK, don't lose your hope, as someone else said Rice is relatively conservative on ED. Don't give up on the transfer thing...

I have a question y'all, when I click on the "Accept Rice Offer" button on the page where it asks you to decide, it leads me to the survey. After I submit it it just leads me to the Rice website.. I was like wha...?? And when I check my status again it goes back to the Congratulations page where it asks me again to make my decision.. hmmm

That is strange, but shouldn't you wait to receive the admission packet (with the financial aid info) before accepting? I know that Rice meets 100% of your need-based aid, but wouldn't it be better to wait, just to make sure that the financial aid package is sufficient?

I'm waiting for the financial packet. It's not really a deciding factor but it would make my parents a lot more willing to give me $400 if they knew i would be getting a little help with the costs. Since National Merit scholarship is a whopping $1000....

Congrats to the accepted! :)

Just got the email. I was deferred.... I'm completely depressed. Now I have to fill out all the other applications...and I won't find out till next year!

You should have gotten an email with this link and a user ID and pin number... if you didn't, call admissions asap.
