bu for me. I wouldnt know about nyu because I didnt get in. I got nothing for bu except for like 3500 in loans

what are the perks of being in the honors program in college of arts and sciences at BU?

Bu was the only college that didn't give my daughter anything at all.

BU gave me a lot of grant money. Around 32k. I just have to wait for NYU.

hey nickel, thats a great offer. And about NYU...their financial aid offers are notoriously bad.

I just talked to an admissions officer and she said that I probably won't get a decision until mid May. How did you guys get accepted so quickly? When did you guys apply?

What?! May?! O_O Are you a transfer student or something? I applied January 1st or December 31st. Can't remember when.

Omg! Yes I'm a transfer, maybe that's why. I'm assuming you're a freshman application. Sorry!!!

Yeah we're freshman.

Got in and declined it promptly.

Are you going to NYU?

I'd go to community college over NYU. (Not doing either!)

Ah, I see.

Yes, that is a lot of money, and judging from your posts over on the NYU board, as of now NYU has not offered much.
