[li] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected:[/li][/ul]General Comments: Good Luck!!

"So, I've been in complete awe for last 2-3 hours. Accepted! Weird series of events. I checked Brown..saw that I was rejected and was depressed for 2 seconds, until I checked Yale and was overjoyed I really have no idea how I got in, but I'm incredibly grateful and fortunate."

Are you serious? I was exactly the opposite! I checked Brown's decision first, found out I was accepted, and screamed excitedly for 10 minutes. Then I checked Yale's rejection and was downcasted all evening because Yale was actually my first choice. Haha. Though we were occupying opposite positions then, I must say I wholeheartedly agree with you that we're both very very grateful and of course fortunate. =)

haha, dragonreborn, that's so hilarious and bizarre! :P I'm sure we'll make the most of it at each other's first picks (if you end up going to Brown)! Keep your head up!

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! And to those who didn't get in here, it may seem like the end of the world, but it's not. It's not even close. You will have so many opportunities wherever you end up, be it Yale or any other school lucky enough to get you. Always know that your value is not dependent on the name of the university on your diploma, but on what you choose to do with it.

You want bizarre decisions? (Just skip to the last section if you don't want to read the whole narrative of me checking my decisions.)

I recently fell in love with Brown, so immediately as I got onto the computer, I went onto the Brown website. Brown: Rejected.

So I then went to my gmail account to access the other decisions. Low and behold, the first e-mail in my inbox--my Harvard decision: Rejected.

Frantically, I logged onto the next decision. Dartmouth: Waitlisted.

I got up, had a drink of water. Walked around my room and then sat back down to check the remaining decisions. The next e-mail was Princeton's: miraculously accepted. I screamed like a little girl at the sight of the first phrase--"Congratulations!"

I sighed, then moved onto Columbia. Logged on, and BAM: Waitlisted.

Finally, I counted all the schools on my hand, and I realized I only had Yale left. I typed in my username and password, clicked, and became completely confused at the sight of bulldog replacing the a in Yale. I looked for the key words: "regret", "congratulations", "happy", "sad", "mixed feelings". Then it hit me, this was the acceptance page everyone talked about! I turned up the volume, enjoyed the last few seconds of the chant, and clicked next to be ecstatically greeted with "Congratulations, Uber!" I actually squealed.

So all in all:
Rejected: Brown and Harvard
Waitlisted: Columbia and Dartmouth
Accepted: Princeton and Yale
