I look at your stats and can't, for the life of me, understand why you were waitlisted. Everything you posted screams out that you're a better applicant than I. I don't know the content of your recs and essays, but your numbers are stellar, the kind many of us dream of getting. Perhaps you can ask your counselor to call them to see what happened. Perhaps there was an honest mistake. At the least, your counselor should be able to give you insight about your recs (assuming the counselor can see them) and maybe your English teacher can critique your essays. I am stunned (and sorry for you) that you didn't get in. GOOD LUCK to you and I hope they realize they made a mistake in your case. </p>
