i checked online and my decision is up.... i got accepted!!!! i don't know if it's for everyone or just instate residents

wait for regular decsion? anyways congrats!

also instate, got my acceptance to Spring 2011 today as well! so excited

so i checked and i was rejected.
I’m not quite sure why. out of state, 2080 sat 3.6 gpa, leadership on debate and wrestling team. lead singer rock band. section leader jazz band. everything else is subjective. i know my stats aren’t really high, but rejection? ouch lol.

yay i got accepted too!! but for Spring semester…oh well that’s what i get for procrastinating and missing the priority deadline. but i’m still excited :)

@thementor5,

Bummer, … one of the first things I’ll do this fall is put together a new band, … and singers are always a problem. The problem with Maryland (if you don’t apply early) is that they just run out of space. :(

Congrats to the rest of you, …

To those who recieved rejections and spring semester, the regular decision pool for umd is a lot more competitive than the early applicant one. Don’t feel too bad if you didn’t make it. It’s hard to get in fall 2010 even as an instate applicant. I heard 8% got in fall last year but I can’t confirm that so don’t take my word for it. I look forward to seeing you all next semester and if not maybe you’ll find a better college out there- it’s all subjective. Ranking doesn’t matter, it’s what you do with the college that does.

Congrats to everyone who got in…and thanks everyone… I forgot to mention that i was accepted for Fall 2010 and was just as shocked as the next person…

Congrats to those who got in. Its pretty hard to get in from RD. I heard that only 5% of the accepted students are from RD.
