<p>If you submitted an app near November and it was strong academically, I would assume that you will start hearing back soon as well.</p>

<p>I think we’ll get something about it later. If we got rejected for that, we should have received some notification about it.</p>

<p>@CantConcentrate : Yeah you’re right. I was talking to a UBC representative yesterday. He said that since we got accepted early, our scholarship decisions won’t come out now. We’ll go into review with other applicants, and then maybe February onwards decisions start coming out.</p>

<p>I thought we would hear about scholarships earlier, like in February. Mid-April is a long time to wait…</p>
<p>Do you know how many will be given? All I know is around 80 scholarships valued at $5000 to $40,000 (over four years).</p>
<p>I don’t know how many are given out but I heard from current UBC students that the scholarships are typically small amounts like $500 or $1000 something like that. Bigger scholarships like the $7000/yr are rare. Merit scholarships are much larger in US schools. I’d be grateful for any scholarship, however small, as it helps. And even if I don’t get anything I am happy because UBC is still a cheaper option for me than college in California.</p>
