Decisions being released today...

or so I've heard from some insider sources ;).
Get ready, boys and girls, and best of luck to ALL OF YOU!!!!

I hope you are not joking!!

Funny joke. I give you credit, though, as I did open the thread :)

are you serious? how do you know?

i think hes right btw

well then what time? five o'clock when they close?

Omgg. if this is true, I don't even know what to think. I know usually they did around Jan5, but since their blog said it would be closer to the 15th this time, I set myself on that.

ahh!! haha. But I'll be in swim practice then! booo. I have the email set to text me whenever they announce they've released them.

carolina released decisions early 2 years ago when I applied...i dunno if its true this year

How does anyone know this?! Oh my goodness, now I'm nervous. If this is a joke it's working, because I'll be embarrassed for hoping :P

Yeah they usually do release them early. But their admissions blog warned us that due to the huge amount of applications it would be closer to the 15th this year. So I'm not sure... usually it's on a Friday too. But who knows. eek!

I don't think so, they usually release decisions on fridays around 4pm.
Helicio who did you hear that from?

yeah im a little skeptical now. Helico is your claim legit?

Even though I still dont think they will be released until friday at the earliest, i have to ask the question. Where on your UNC homepage does the decision come up? Do I click on app. status??

i was wondering the same thing. good question

someone could probably just call up the admissions office to find out if this is true.

as for where it comes out, i think it is under 'check status' but i'm not positive.

Wicked, I volunteer you to call to check since you brought it up :) haha

You guys are all suckers.

Read the admissions blog: if you subscribe, you will be notified by email the second they release decisions. Probably a bit more reliable than someone in an anonymous forum.

But that's not true, for me at least. I subscribed, randomly checked in on the blog one day, and there was a new post. I didn't receive the e-mail notification until the next evening.

yeah same with me too. ughh. this is making me so anxious right now.

he is full of it...and i agree the admissions blog said NOTHING
