<p>Without a doubt, these students have some of the most insane stats I have seen and was wondering how common are these types of students at MIT? I understand there is a limited amount of olympiad finalists, but I really haven’t seen many people on the results threads with the same on level stats.</p>

<p>So basically, do students with stats such as these team members, in terms of prestigious awards, make up a large or small population at MIT?</p>

<p>well there isn’t a large population of physics team kids period, but about 20% of our students are internationally recognized academic stars on the level of physics team kids</p>
