I just received an email of "shipment notification' from DHL today.

DHL informed me that the shipment was picked up at USC at 4pm, and it was processed at DHL locations at 5pm.

So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I hope it will be good news. Everyone, start waiting for the new round of decisions next week. Good Luck to everyone.

Weedeeg- we’ve never heard of anyone here getting a rejection this early from USC (rejections always come last- in early April) so it sounds like you’re in!

On February 29, 2008 a shipment label was printed by Daniel Vargas(213-743-4943) of USC Finance for delivery to (my name) of (my name again). The shipment number of this package is -----.

Sender’s message:‘No message.’

at first i thought this is the acceptance package for sure, but now im beginning to think that its some random package? I dunno what exactly ‘USC Finance’ means…

I think it’s from USC, Marshall, finance department. Does anyone know if Daniel Vargas is from finance dept? The tel no definitely is from USC. We just have to wait til Monday.
Which city are you from?

Wait…how did dhl get your email id? is it because you sent your application through dhl?

And i just searched on the website…Daniel Vargas is the director of the communication and mail department at USC…so it might still be an acceptance

Son received his acceptance about March 5th or 6th I think. This would be about the right timing as it was USPS last year and we are in Montana.

It may be a catalog or the first round of regular acceptances. I suspect the latter given the timing but no way to know for sure

Oh my gosh, I am freaking out.
Does your status page still say “we have finished preliminary review…” after you were notified by DHL that you have a letter coming?

Nickel: I remember reading somewhere that it was the first Monday in March (I say this because I know there was a numerical date but I just can’t remember what it is precisely. I just know it’s the first Monday.)
