<p>Are they sending all the acceptances out at once?</p>
<p>First, congratulations to all the new Trojans! </p>
<p>Regarding housing choices, all freshmen are guaranteed a dorm. However, some of the more popular dorms fill up fast and they give priority selection for residence hall assignments by the order in which students sign up for housing. Even if you are not yet positive you will ultimately attend USC, it makes good sense to sign up with the housing site now to have priority. The drawback is, you must pay $30 to register for housing which in nonrefundable if you don’t end up going to USC, but that isn’t much to worry about in order to protect your order of selection.</p>
<p>The Housing presentation at ExploreUSC emphasized the wisdom of signing up as early as possible and explained that a student could select his top five res. halls now, and then later go back and re-do that list, or select new halls if he changed his mind. The most important part was getting into the system by an early date.</p>
<p>Of course, it is only possible to log into the housing site once you receive your Welcome to the Trojan Family packet which includes a booklet called “Liveing at USC” with all the details of your choices of housing options.</p>
<p>Just wanted to remind everyone (in the excitement of acceptance notices) to not overlook this opportunity.</p>

There was no scholarship info in the packet. but there was a sheet to sign up for ExploreUSC. Is it available to everyone?</p>
<p>I think Explore USC is available for all accepted students. Son really enjoyed it last year and met friends there he is hanging around with today.</p>
<p>Guys, make sure to list yourselves (and majors) on the Applicants for USC Class of 2012 thread, so we can see how many on cc are applying to 'SC–and don’t forget to add ACCEPTED if you already got your letters.</p>

<p>No. I think the people that live close will get an acceptance first and we’ll just have to wait patiently if we don’t live in CA.</p>

<p>I think a few internationals already received their acceptance letters. The rest are probably coming out throughout March.</p>
