<p>i don’t think the statuses matter very much anymore. basically, if you haven’t received anything yet, you have a significantly lower chance of getting in than you did before all these acceptances were sent out.</p>

<p>i would believe so since they had recieved their letters, they have a 100% chance of being accepted, while the rest of us havent so that we have a 50% chance of getting in…</p>

<p>with this wave there seems to be a trend between application status and notification. has anyone with prelim review been accepted in this wave?</p>
<p>i haven’t been accepted but i was notified about their norman topping scholarship, which is for students with community awareness, financial need, first-generation student status, extraordinary circumstances, and volunteer efforts.
my status still says “prelim review” but idk why they contacted about the scholarship because someone else on here said they got contacted too but they didn’t make notifications based on financial need. i’m so confused its ridiculous. </p>

<p>ohhaeroplanes, have you gone through preliminary review yet? it looks like they’re still preparing to look at your application maybe?..i think i heard some people switch back and forth between its preparing for review and preliminary review, or preliminary review and currently being reviewed.</p>
<p>Wow, that’s the first status other than “Being reviewed” to receive an acceptance in this recent batch, that I’ve heard of. I haven’t heard of that status before, interesting. Thanks for the info and again, congratulations!</p>
